Your life intersects with government on a daily basis. GIMBY (Government in My Backyard) is here to help you understand how, by offering news and information about what federal agencies do in cities, towns, and rural areas around the U.S.
GIMBY provides easy-to-use, one-screen profiles of scores of federal agencies and the issues they're charged with handling. We localize news about federal agencies through original reporting, blogging, and news aggregation. We use social media sourcing of emerging stories to track the conversation Americans are already having about government where they live. And we offer citizens ways to find out about pending federal regulations that affect them in their communities.
